Question 1: I believe as AI and computer generated help becomes more mainstream in public schools and beyond, it is absolutely critical that as institutions we don't just punish students for using these sources, but show them how to use it properly. I think AI can be a useful tool when conducting research or aiding with assignments, as long as you use it as an "aid" rather then a crutch. Personally, I would take time to show my students the expectations of AI usage in my classroom and what is considered acceptable and nonacceptable. I think we are beyond the idea of banning AI as a tool since its so integrated in our technology, and its time for us to start using it to our advantage.

Question 2: I think it is apparent that the biggest issue with the implementation with technology and Ai would be academic dishonesty. Like stated before, I think it would be critical to show students why using AI can be considered dishonest, and then proceed to show the students how to properly use it so this situation doesn't arise. From my understanding, most students want to do well and more then intelligent enough to do their own work; they can just sometimes get lazy so its our job as instructors to give them the tools to be successful and hold them accountable.

Question 3: Some of the new skills I learned when making the Newsletter design would most certainly be the overall usage of Microsoft Word. If you take the time to learn all of its small mechanisms and truly use it to your advantage, you can make beautiful documents and newsletters for your students. I think also mastering the skill of sharing documents in multiple variations (pdf, doc, weblinks, etc) is really important in the modern era since everything can be shared interchangeably. Another skill in general I've learned is being able to simplify my writing and only share the important information; this helps with staying on topic and not overflooding the reader with information.
