Blog Journal #6

 1) The standard I think is extremely helpful for any student to learn would be SC.8.CO.12. I think this standard can be used in a variety of different courses to help students get more familiar with technology and expose them to multiple programs. I think a obvious website that can be used for this assignment could be Canva or any creative program in that wheel house. I believe also this can help the student get use to other website programs such as Google docs, slides, sheets or anything that can promote collaborative effort.

2) I believe the best resource that CPALM provides would definitely be the unique lesson plans for what ever course you may be teaching. This resource helps you or any educator provide unique lessons for students on a consistent basis. This will help students remain engaged with the lesson and enjoy the learning experience. I particularly like the pacing it provides and the group assignments they have already planned out for the different courses.

3) The only question that lingers with me is: with the development of generative AI which can pretty much anything a teacher may need (lesson plans, etc), will websites like this still be needed? Also Is there a way to develop CPALM in a way that it can be used outside of Florida? I seems like the website has a lot of potential for growth and genuine use but it seems a bit out of date. I would also challenge the website creators to increase the advertisement of the website to help increase usage.
